The DigiSAS Lab is based at the School of Computer Science, University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
Purpose
DigiSAS lab conducts Interdisciplinary research and innovation in the broader area of human-centred software technology design and solutions for a greater societal impact around the four major areas: environmental, economic, health and social well-being.
Focus
DigiSAS lab conducts practice-based research, development and evaluation of software and societal systems for the complex data-intensive digital ecosystems to address the challenges of industry, government and society. Established in 2015 as an extension of an internationally recognised COTAR (Centre for Object Technology Applications and Research), which was established in 1994 as a collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Industry.
