Digital Ecosystems
Digital Ecosystem (DE)
“Digital ecosystem (DE) is a dynamic configuration of informational organisms, individual and organisational actors, which interact in the digitally networked and federated environment”. Gill, A.Q. (2022). The digital ecosystem information framework: Insights from action design research. Journal of Information Science, Sage Publication.
DigiSAS work is mainly concerned with the research and development of human-centric software and societal systems (S3) for the connected and complex data-intensive digital ecosystem (DE) that deal with the significant humanity and societal challenges.
- Information (Data) is a foundation for digital innovation and transformation. DigiSAS focuses on strategic planning, architecture, and solutions underpinning software and societal systems (S3) for data-intensive digital ecosystems.
- DigiSAS research is largely undertaken in collaboration with industry partners through research and innovation development contracts and internships. Research and innovation results are disseminated through industry short courses, workshops, seminars, forums, showcases, conferences, white papers and academic articles.
Software and Societal Systems (S3)
DigiSAS lab’s current work is organised into following three integrated areas of cybersecurity , data management and software systems within the broader area of human-centred software technology and solutions.
Cybersecurity | Data Management | Software Systems |
Digital Identity | Enterprise Data, Information, Knowledge & Decision Architecture and Modelling | AI Powered Enterprise Architecture and Modelling |
Cyber Governance, Risk and Resilience | Data Managment, Governance and Quality | AI System Architecture, Assessment and Solutions |
Privacy, Security and Trust | Data Auditing, Monitoring and Observability | AI System Auditing, Monitoring and Observability |
Publica and private sector organisations are invited to team-up and collaborate with the DigiSAS Lab for exploring and addressing complex challenges of mutual interest for humanity and society.
